What is an NJTL?
NJTL is "National Junior Tennis & Learning." It is a USTA Foundation-supported program started by Arthur Ashe. Pasadena Tennis was selected as an NJTL Chapter in 2018. Our focus is on youth, tennis & education. Our NJTL Chapter offers academic support, tutoring, and SAT prep courses through the Winward Academy. For more information, contact us today.

School is back in session, and our after-school classes have resumed. Join a class to keep your tennis skills sharp. Learn tennis, practice, and play with family or friends. You can even join with a friend!

Many parents inquire about adult clinics; while our program is youth-centric, we do provide seasonal clinics for adults. Please message us if you wish to be notified about the next session. We will reach out to you once the dates are confirmed. info@tennispasadena.com
Family Tennis Days are designed to unite families, coaches, and the community for a morning filled with tennis, breakfast snacks, coffee, and juice. The event is fun-filled and provides tennis activities for all family members, regardless of their experience with the sport.

Q: Can I join at any time?
A: Certainly.
Q: My child is new to tennis. How many classes should we start with?
A: Begin with four classes. More can be added later if needed.
Q: What if my child misses a class?
A: Just let us know. Whether your child is ill, you're on vacation, or there's another reason, we'll take note. You won't lose the class.
Q: I'm unsure which class is right for my child. What should I do?
A: Enroll them in the class you feel is most suitable. Our skilled coaches will assess your child and suggest any necessary changes to their class placement.
Q: Is there a refund policy?
A: We typically do not offer refunds. However, exceptions may be made under special circumstances.
Q: What if a class or camp is canceled?
A: Occasionally, cancellations may occur due to inclement weather or poor air quality. In such cases, classes will be rescheduled to the next available day. For camps, any missed days will be credited towards future camp weeks or class series.

Red Ball only (ages 4 - 8 yrs. )
This class is for our youngest players new to tennis. Agility, Balance, Coordination. Fun games and activities make learning tennis FUN! USTA Net Generation.
Red, Orange, Green Dot Balls (ages vary)
Learn the basics of tennis. Classes are designed for players new to the sport of tennis. Agility, Balance, Coordination. Fun games and activities make learning tennis FUN! USTA Net Generation & Youth Progression.
Yellow Balls (ages 11 up)
This class is for middle and high school players ready for the next phase of tennis. Emphasis is placed on stroke production, fitness/conditioning, singles & doubles. Middle and high school preparation. Intro to tournament competition.
Yellow Balls (ages vary)
Intermediate Yellow ball players. This class is for players who play competitive tennis. Level 6 & 5 tournaments, Middle & High school players. Emphasis is placed on stroke production, fitness/conditioning, singles & doubles.
Ages vary.
For competitive players. Emphasis is placed on stroke production, footwork, match play, consistency, strategy & player confidence.
